About the Rocking Raccoons
Some people may call them “terrible twos” but we call them our Rocking Raccoons. This program is for children who celebrate their second birthday between the months of March and October. At this age children become very inquisitive and are ready to learn.
The Rocking Raccoons' weekly curriculum themes focus on letters, numbers, colors and shapes along with social lessons on manners, sharing, and listening. These lessons are taught daily during circle time, activities, and art projects. This is also the stage when children are introduced to the potty. Regular trips to the bathroom where they can begin learning potty skills are worked into their daily routine.
The vibrant Raccoons room is full of toys and educational activities and games including cars, puzzles, a kitchen set, dress-up clothes, musical instruments, books, and much more. Daily theme-related arts and craftshelp your child explore his or her creative side.
