Super Stars

The Super Stars program is for children who miss the October 1st cut-off for Kindergarten.  Our Super Stars enjoy lessons that will stimulate their interests and foster growth in their social and language skills.

About Super Stars

The Super Stars program (Trans-K) is for those students who will turn 5 after October 1st and miss the cut-off date for kindergarten. This class is also designed for those students whom parents choose to give their child an extra year of pre-school before heading to Kindergarten. Throughout the day, our Super Stars engage in a full daily schedule of curriculum, journal writing, art and hands-on educational activities. Learning centers are incorporated into their daily schedule as well. The classroom teacher will submit weekly lesson plans that include the letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and weekly themes. Our curriculum is designed to prepare your child for kindergarten. Throughout the school year, children will focus on upper and lower case letters, numbers 1-20, colors, shapes, writing their names and reciting their address. New computers have been added to enhance your child’s learning through interactive technology.

In May of every year, the students begin to practice for our annual amazing pre-school graduation ceremony usually held at the Brownstone.

Your child will no longer nap in the Fantastic Fours classroom.
